Preliminary Freight Corridor screening reports assessing truck usage, infrastructure, and operational issues affecting freight movement are being conducted throughout the region.
To support the goal of the Preliminary Corridor Screening program of evaluating all state highways within the region and local and county roads that are used to transport goods within the region or between local freight activity centers, the state highway system was divided into 163 individual segments. These segments were assigned to various consultants, and are in varying stages of completion.
